Best Bowling Figures in IPL History

Young bowler Alzarri Joseph holds the record for the best bowling stats in an IPL match. In a low-scoring game, he tore through Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting order, taking six wickets for just 12 runs in 2019. The Mumbai Indians had given the Hyderabad team a target of 137 runs, which was entirely doable. SRH, on the other hand, lost the match by 40 runs after being bundled for just 96 runs due to Alzarri Joseph’s consistent smashes.

Sohail Tanvir had previously held the record for 11 years before Joseph broke it. During his first season with the Rajasthan Royals, Tanvir had stats of 6/14 against the Chennai Super Kings. In this encounter, the Royals batted first and easily chased down the 109 runs that the Chennai squad was all out for in 14.2 overs, winning by 8 wickets.
